Bokjae tagged me
Bokjae tagged me on this one, the Technorati Fave sites.
I have to thank him for adding me as one of his new faves, but I've done it liao.
I don't know how I stumbled upon his blog, I've been bloghopping too much I guess :P but he caught my attention, being a patient and dedicated care-giver to his wife who suffers from stroke. And that brings me back to home. Made me think of my dad who has passed on now, and who suffered the same fate for more than 20 years.
Although dad was confined to the house, limited movements, but he was very independant. He did everything by himself. He learned to write again with his left hand, even taught me how to write, made his own breakfast, bathed and dressed himself, but most of all, he never stopped exercising. Just by walking around the garden and massaging his right hand. Counting to 100 with the hands-up-in-the-air-and-put-them-down exercise. And I would creep behind him and shout 'SIXTY EIGHT!'
He would get such a fright, turn around, either chased after me as fast as he could :) or started counting from ONE again. But both actions will be accompanied by this sentence 'DNMH' (cuss word, SAZ, if you are reading this, haha) Believe you me, he may have been ultra slow in his speech, but those were speedy-gonzales!
MISS YOU, BA.
