Quickie - lady killer
Aidan didn't have arvo nap today.
By 5pm, he gathered his Puppy and new love Patrick (christmas bear), held my hand and said to me, 'Mummy, fun gau.'
5.00pm? Sleep? Sorry mate! I didn't even have my shower yet, and I had to get ready for work. Dada was home, so he distracted Aidan with a preschool dvd. After I got ready, he saw me in my work clothes, held my scarf, hugged me in such a manner, and gave me THAT look.
Those eyes were staring into mine, eyebrows a little upward, questioning, begging, as if to say 'Don't go, Mummy.'
THAT look, melted my heart. You little lady killer.
