One sick, one limping

And a one off decision, Marysville trip this Saturday..... cancelled.

Aidan's not too bad, the common cold and stuff, but needs time to rest. As for me, I am limping now. I had to wake him up from his sleep, of which he wasn't too happy about of course, and decided I would carry him to the car.

I hurriedly slip on my shoes and walked out the front door. I didn't actually had the shoes in my feet yet, you know, hanging out, and I did a little twist. In order not to drop Aidan, by the way, he's 19kg, or a little more, I had to endure the split of the second pain. Buckled him up, then came back into the house to change to my sneakers.

On the way to the clinic, the supermarket, and all the way home, it was alright. Until I took off my sneakers. Wahliao. Not swollen, but painful all the same.

And the trip to Marysville, might as well not, right? I may not be able to run after him, or have some fun myself. No sleds, no taboogans, no skis, no snow.

Boo.

Hope you can sleep off this injury and make your trip. What a bummer if you cannot.

SA - we are not going this Sat. No way I can run after him. But things happen for a reason. Now that we can't go this week, we get to go next week, and Aidan's favourite friends (our friend's kids) will be able to join us and he'll have heaps more fun.

Isn't that great?!
