What's in a credit card for you?

Applying for credit cards today aren't just like twenty years ago. It's much easier now.

I just switched to a new one purely because it doesn't have any annual fees, ever. Plus the credit limit is 3 times higher than the previous one. Not that I need that much, but it's comforting to know that I don't have to watch the limit everytime and get charged for it if I do, as well as being reassured I have that kind of 'money' in case it's needed in an emergency.

If you are searching for the perfect credit card, do watch out for various points such as 0% balance transfer for a certain period of time. This is a good feature if you have reasons like mine. But if you are undecided, check out www.creditcardstore.co.uk for credit card comparison and you might get a clearer picture how to choose wisely.

For shopoholics, it's recommended to get reward credit cards where points will be accumulated for redemption of free gifts, vouchers or even air tickets. You've got to be happy with that! Having said this, you have to spend a lot on the card, otherwise it's pointless whereby you end up getting a gift for the cost less than your annual fee, that is, if your card charges you this.

Happy shopping!
