My typical sleep-in days
Almost every morning my wake up call will be as such. That is, if I don't have to wake Aidan up first.
He will climb into bed under the doona beside me, and smilingly say either 'Hewwo' or 'Morning'. I will smile, give him a kiss, and go back to sleep. Sometimes he will just lie down with me and play with his soft toys. Then probably after a few minutes when he gets bored, he will play Superman.
He will free-fall himself on me, jolting me wide-awake, and do a little wrestling. He will continue doing that until I offer to make him his milk. He will then want to help me, usually by scooping the formula powder into his milk.
Back to my bed, bliss. Only for two secs though. I won't get any peaceful sleep from this point forth. Sometimes I do get a treat. He will grab my brush and comb my hair. Feels like a ticklish yet syiok light massage. Then perhaps do another round of Superman until I get his drift.
Lucky thing Saturday and Sunday he will go bother his Dada. Wilkin is an early riser. I am an early sleeper..... 2am that is.
My bothersome hero.
