MMmmm.......

Wilkin didn't eat the roo meat last night.

Either he was too full from the brussel sprouts and garlic bread, or he was too lazy to fry it. Or both. Once the meat is in my fridge for a day, I do not like to freeze them. So today I bought some shallots, or spring onions, or scallions. WHAT is the difference actually?!

Dish for the adults, ginger and spring onions with roo meat.

Then for Aidan, sausage with carrot, potato and onions in tomato sauce. It is one of my simple fave dish. Then, is it for him or for me arr? He won't eat the onions, but it creates more aroma to it. I can finish them anyway :)

And lastly, what better than Ham Choy Tau Foo Thong?! (Salted veggie and beancurd soup) I haven't had this in a LLOONNNGGG time! And the taste...... mmuuakkkss!!

It's not because of my cooking really, but the salted veggie was just nice. I didn't have to add anything else into the soup. Mum told me it's supposed to 'har for' - lower your temper tantrums. Must get Wilkin to drink more, haha. Well, myself as well, I guess.

Aahhh..... my type of diiner.

BURP!

The roo looks just like beef. And I love ham choy thong too and I haven't had them for a very LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time as well. I think I've forgotten about them until I read your post. Now how do I satisfy my cravings?

like my sister, i also like the ham choy tofu soup. i can't get good hamchoy here. once i got a packaged hamchoy from taiwan, and it has the sulfur taste to it. had to throw away the whole thing.

anna - try different brand. i know it's difficult to get the really fresh ones, but it's a matter of trial and error in this case :)

HFM - yes, that's usually the norm, but i prefer the clearer kind of soup. the pork bones very oily :P
