Bruschetta

My own made bruchetta. Mamma Mia!! Mmm...mmmm......

I was craving for it since last Saturday when I had it for lunch. $3.95 for a piece of bread with this on top. Not expensive, considering it a lunch, but very much so if you think you can make it yourself! I didn't care what kind of bread at home, I had to have it.

Bruschetta is a regionale dish of many southern regions of Italy and is also rediscovered as a wonderful antipasto. Simple recipe really:

Tomato, diced into small cubes
Basil, chopped up
Garlic or spanish (red) onions, diced finely
Dash of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste.

All ingredients are according to your taste. Mix them all up and serve on top of your grilled bread, or on sliced bread stick as finger food. Oh drools. I will have to make more tomorrow.
