Mulgrave Weekend Fair

We went to the Mulgrave weekend fair on Saturday. There was a stage, mini golf, jumping castle, animal farm, face painting and craft as well as a mini fire-truck to go round and round the field.

First stop, needless to say, the mini golf, as Aidan spotted Thomas Tank chugging in and out at one of the 'pars'. Here's Daddy helping with his first lesson.

D'oh! Why doesn't the ball go into the hole?

Here, let Daddy help. In you go! Yeap, that's cheating!!

Errr Mummy, I'm not sure if I want to be in here.

There were fairies singing on the stage, with a punk rock theme. Their music is not what you think, tinkly or magical like. It was more of hip rock and when the music started, you should have seen the poor golden retriever tied at the side. I saw it, and it was half funny half pitiful seeing his doggy ears pinned back with tail behind his back, and pulling away from the stage. But I do agree with him, not the kind of music on a Saturday morning for families with young kids. Next they'll think Tinkerbell is a rock chick.

Oh, by the way, Happy Winter Blues..... bbrrrr.......
