I am Lost

Lost without my organizer.

What does one think, when he or she knows of someone who is a Stay At Home Mum? I know there has been lots of stories, jokes, articles, about this topic, but I would really like to pick someone's brain, for instance, my hubby.

All he could see of me, is that I wake up late on weekends, and do nothing much, as Saturday is always our family day, we go out often, and I don't cook on weekends. So, does he or will he visualize what goes on during the week when he's away at work?

I will be definitely lost without my organizer. There are kinder days, but there are also excursions, events, classes, appointments to keep. At the moment, my calendar is filled with dates for Rainbow Day, Junior Gym 'graduation' day, School Uniform day, Orientation Days, appointments with doctor, naturopath, homeopath, birthday parties.

When hubby called up earlier this afternoon, he expected me to be at home. I told him no. I was at a class with Aidan. I couldn't run an errand for him after that because I need to get home to cook, before I leave for work. I know I have chose my path to work part time, and I have no complaints about that, and I am not saying he thinks I am free most of the time, but I really want to know how much he really understands what goes on round the clock.

He doesn't see me clean the house, do the washing, cooking, other than my ME time watching the telly, or dating our computer. He doesn't complain if my cooking is bad, or if I don't cook at all. I made him eat meatpies for dinner last night, straight from the freezer into the oven, and he was fine with that. But I do wonder, if he realizes what goes on when he is not around?

And for now, I am mentally exhausted. I am not even making sense as I type. I really need a power nap, but because I took time to post this, I have no time for that. Bleh.

Gotta go cook and then get ready for work.
