Gone green on lights

Last month I received a call from some Enviro Care company, stating that the government has approved of some funding to change all our lights at home to energy-saving bulbs for free. Just a couple of weeks ago, a guy came in and did just that. Which is good, but my house has gone white! Yes, I grew up with halogen lights, but after coming here, we have been using the yellow bulbs for ages. Gives sort of a warm, comfortable glow, especially during the winter.

And now that it's white, it looks kind of weird to me. Kind of, sterile. Maybe some discount lighting fixtures may fix the problem and make my home looks and feel like a home again. A little change of design sometimes does wonder to the whole place.
