Our water, our future

A friend from Noosa stayed with another friend of ours in Melbourne over the weekend. Not consciously realizing that Melbourne is facing the on-going water shortage problem, she had the taps on full blast for washing the dishes and showering the kids.

And since our Melbourne friend have quite a lot of guests coming and going, I suggested that it would be a good idea to switch her shower faucet in the guest bathroom to a water-saving one. Not only will that save her on her water bill, but it is very important that all of us do our part in keeping the reservoirs 'healthy'.

And as I will be away for almost a month, that will be helping out a lot, no?
