Aidan with his 'new' train set

Given to him by Sharon, my colleague, who has three train sets at home, and her son Callum has stopped playing with them. She gave me this as she finds it hard to part with Thomas set. Understandable.

It's an old Tomy set, with bits and parts missing, and also I tried to be MacGyver smart, only to have all the rollers and pins falling out from the train that I tried to unscrew. I thought the battery compartment was in there. Now it really ISN'T working.

Nevertheless, it provided Aidan with hours of fun, just rolling them round and round. Maybe I should dig out the Little People and let him pretend they're passengers.
