No Drugs please

I am glad I left the place I previously worked for. I heard they are starting Methadone programs now. Being opening late till twelve midnight, the last thing the assistants, mostly girls, want, are customers streaming into the chemist for their fixes.

Methadone is a synthetic opioid used as substitute drug that acts on opiate receptors but does not give the 'high' the actual substance does. But all the same, withdrawing from methadone also produces withdrawal symptoms, and some users claim it's more addictive.

What's the point then? Whatever types of addiction, people need drug treatment, not a replacement. 1800Nodrugs.com is a non-profit drug and alcohol rehabilitation referral service which helps individuals conquer their addictions and hopefully be free of them, and live healthy lives again.

Many do not understand how a person feels when he/she does not get the chemical, or their fix, for a longer period of time. It can be very stressful, hurtful and daunting for both parties. 1800Nodrugs has an excellent track record and their compassionate, knowledgeable drug rehabilitation placement staff can help individuals suffering from drug addiction and their loved ones to understand the situation better and how to help them.

I do hope those on methadone programs get serious help instead.
