Those pesky fire ants

I have been stung many times by fire ants, or in cantonese 'Forr Ngai' .

As a young child, I would unknowingly step on their territory and be stung by eight to ten of them, leaving my feet swollen and red with bite marks, painful and itchy at the same time. The more I scratched, the more I couldn't stop scratching.

These pesky insects' stings contain high concentrations of poisons, and they belong to the same order as bees and wasps, except they are wing-less. To understand more about them and the fire ant life cycle, go to this site controlfireants.com and you will find ways to to get rid of them.

You will find useful information here.
