Allergy
All along we knew Aidan has an allergy to walnuts. Peanuts, hazelnuts, he is fine with those. Eat a peanut that is put together in a jar with walnuts, he will still break out in rash around his mouth.
I am trying to eat healthy, so I bought a pack of seeds and nuts to snack on whenever I feel hungry. Aidan being nosy, played with them, and I do not know if he had put some into his mouth or not. Knowing him, he would not eat them. Lucky in this sense he is a fussy eater.
Few hours later, I noticed this around his chin. We ate nothing out of the ordinary so...
What do you suppose I can blame it on?

Be careful about allergies though. Good that this one did not do any harm in the end.

oh my..!! chloe has the same thing.. but we donch know what she is allergic to.. !!! i wonder if it is the weather..??
janice - lucky thing he is a fussy eater, can't just shove anything into his mouth.
waterlearner - yes, i've heard or anaphylactic shocks but haven't actually seen one, and won't want to witness one!

michelle - it is possible, may never know. not that i am going to try again on purpose!
mamabok - it may mean a world's difference. a friend told me that someone she knows was okay with pistachios in china, but had severe allergic reactions when he ate them here. funny yeah?
