Out of Control

My credit card bills.

It reaches a point where sometimes I couldn't care less what I buy anymore. The defiance, the adrenaline, the need to buy, not what I necessarily need, pushes the boundary. The angel will be asking me, Do you really need that? You are spending without thinking but the devil will be telling me Go on, you can afford it. You need that self-pampering sessions. You have worked hard!

At the back of my mind, I know I can afford it, but that's not the point. I have to save enough money to go on my yearly trip again, but I haven't even started stacking the coins, so to speak. And that time will be here again soon, to pay the yearly car rego and insurance. Somehow all payments will miraculously turn up at the same time, and my phone card will need recharging, facial cleanser needs replacing and perhaps my contact lenses runs out of supply, leaving me thinking where on earth am I going to dig for the extra cash.

Until my next pay, I'll let it sit. Or decide if I should buy that pair of Diane Ferrari boots.

I've been spending too much recently too. I really need to refrain from buying unnecessary things. The best is don't go shopping cos I will get things really uncontrollably.... *sweat*
