Being Frugalistic

Means everything has to be budgeted, especially at times like now.

I guess I am blessed that I still have a steady job, but with the cost of living that keeps elevating , that pretty much says tighten my belt, or else. I have been shopping at independent grocer stores, as most of their things are cheaper, but still, it is wise to look at the weekly brochures of giant supermarkets. It may take a little extra time, but to me it is worth it, because when they have a sale going on, they actually mean it.

As for things around the house, it always comes down to two questions. Want it, or need it? And most of the time, you will be surprised to find, a lot of things, we don't need. I have seen children with fancy and expensive containers, cute bento boxes, Tupperware range, etc. What is wrong with my no name brand? It still carries my food and sandwich fresh. What is wrong with a Target t-shirt, as compared to Guess and Seeds? Need them? Not.

Having said that, there are some things that quality does matter. I have only one pair of eyes, and when it comes to buying eyeglasses, I know what I want, and reasonable. Quality, reliability and fashion, Zenni Optical is one of the largest online stores that delivers them. From only $8 for eyeglasses, you probably couldn't get it anywhere in the shops. This is because they manufacture their own frames and sell direct to public.

We know how much a pair of prescription glasses cost. So you WILL know how much you can save.

Ei, Tupperware is good okay. Just need to buy one time and it'll last you forever. (I'm selling Tupperware now...kekeke...)
